All technology comes from the abundant gifts of the Earth. The explosion of technologies that make connections between humans simple and instant are, from the perspective of just a few decades ago, miraculous. And yet, like so much of human life on this planet, we act as if there were no connection between these technological gifts and the source of their possibility.
We take a stand to use these technologies in ways that connect People and Land in deep and illuminating ways. To this end, we envision a growing number of Earth Wisdom offerings that occur on-line, in digital forms (voice, image, video), during which we explicitly encourage people to work with the Earth to inform and enhance their learning. Our purpose is to weave our own growth and development as human beings together with the forgotten and necessary connection with the Earth.
