Sorrows and disasters are the clouds that flit across the sky, they cannot injure the blue depths of space of faith...
Sorrows and disasters are the clouds
that flit across the sky; they cannot
injure the blue depths of space of faith.
Look upon joy and sorrow
as teachers of hardihood and balance.
Grief is a friendly reminder,
a good taskmaster, even a better teacher than joy.
Do not flinch in the face of grief.
Welcome the test because thereafter
you are awarded the certificate.
It is to measure your progress that tests are imposed.

Worry means 'war with the self'

The word “worry” itself means at “war with the Self”.
Worry itself signifies, “Thinking that induces fear within one’s being”.
No doubt worry is thinking…but what kind of thinking…”unnecessary thinking”!
Worry begins when one strongly feels that there is no other solution …other than to think!
Worry always finds its way back to fear. Often many solutions come before the worrier…but he seldom wishes to get out from his so-called “safety net” of continuous uninterrupted thinking.
We often worry and make others worry with us. We are comfortable that both are thinking unnecessarily and remain in a false notion that that itself will bring peace.
We desire…we chase…we make the choices and inevitably when worry surrounds us we look toward God and ask Him “Why?”
We constantly talk of our desires. We often wonder which one will be fulfilled…at what time. And then we speak of how much faith we have in God…and wonder if He has known and realized it!!
Are we truly carefree? Are we ready to give up worrying? Are we ready to distinguish between the “necessary thinking” and the “unnecessary thinking”?
When unnecessary thinking becomes a habit…worry becomes your nature…fear becomes your companion…and life becomes a road to failures…
Let us succeed in thinking right first! And whatever follows we will surely learn to face!

Difference of opinion must be like the 2 eyes, each giving a different picture of the same subject...both of which coordinated to give a complete pic
Difference of opinion must be like the two eyes, each giving a different picture of the same object; both of which, when coordinated give a complete rounded picture. It is no use indulging in arguments and disputations; he who clamors aloud has not grasped the Truth, believe Me. Silence is the only language of the realized.
Those who know will not speak; those who speak do not know, can not know. It is the ignorant man who argues loudly and angrily and talks cynically. The wise man will pause before judging; he will see all sides of the problem, relate it to his own experience and hesitate to accept it or condemn it. He will hear less and taste more.

Read this story... 'Bitterness of life'
An experienced wise master grew tired of his Disciple complaining. One morning he sent the Disciple for some salt.
When the Disciple returned, the master instructed the unhappy young man to put a handful of salt in a glass of water and drink it.
"How does it taste?" the master asked.
"Bitter," spit the Disciple.
The master chuckled and then asked the young man to put a handful of Salt in the lake nearby.
The two walked to the nearby lake. After the apprentice swirled his handful of salt into the water, the old man said, "Now drink from the lake...”
As the water dripped down the young man's chin, the master asked, "Now How does this taste?"
"Fresh Sweet" remarked the Disciple.
"Do you taste the salt?" asked the master.
"No," said the young man.
At this, the master sat beside the young man who so reminded him of himself at one time and held his hands.
He told the young man, "The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains exactly the same. However, the amount of bitterness we taste depends on the container we put the pain in!

Forbearance....
You have to make your love pure.
To do so, you must develop forbearance ,
which implies remaining serene, patient and
observing self-restraint under all circumstances,
doing good to all, even to those who may want to harm you.
There is nothing greater than .
Forbearance is equivalent to truth itself.
It is the heart of righteousness .
It is non-violence in practice.
Forbearance is contentment, compassion;
truly, it is everything in all the worlds.
Only when you have developed forbearance,
will you be able to attain the Love..

Refuse to indulge in self pity... is it worth gaining the compassion of a few and losing the worth of your own self?
One cannot harbor bad feelings within and attempt to offer love...the stream of pure love begins to flow only when the past memories are cleaned with.

Patience is our mood of the day...
when everyone is ok...
when everyone is fine...
when everyone is healthy...
the world will be a better place to live...
It all starts from us...
It all starts from our home...
Let us lead our family members..
Let us show by examples...
Let us do the right things...
Let us say the right things...
Our kids learn, seeing and unseeing..
Thus it is for us to mould the family....
Love is the main ingredient...
Patience is our mood of the day...
Harmony is the song we sing...
Understanding...mutual and kind...

There are 3 kinds of love...

Love is of three kinds;
Self centered, which like a bulb, illumines just a small room;
Mutual, which like moonlight, spreads wider but is not clear;
and Genuine love which is like the sunlight, is all pervasive and clear.
Cultivate the third type of Love that will save you.
For all the service that you do to others, through Love,
is actually service done to yourself.
It is not others that you help, it is yourself that is being helped.

Life without love is like an electric wire without power supply...
Man should strive to become good and virtuous..
Man should strive to become good and virtuous.
Only when a man is filled with good thoughts
and feelings, and performs good deeds will
his life become meaningful.
You have to busy yourselves with activity
in order to use your time and skill to the best advantage.
That is your duty, and duty is God.
Every man should recognise that the body
has been given to him to render service to others.
One must use the body for promoting the welfare of society.
A mind that is not utilized for imparting joy
to others or a body that is not used in
service of others is totally useless.
The way to love God is to love
all and serve all.

Wish hard for what you want,,, yes, on what you really want..
Realize this miracle..
you will always get what you really want,
provided they are with good intention and vision..

Difficulties come and go like passing clouds...
Difficulties come and go like passing clouds. You don't need to worry
about them. Keep your vision fixed on the sun. Sometimes, clouds
cover the sun. But, have patience. When the clouds move away, the sun
will be visible again. In the same manner, the clouds of worldly
delusion come in the way of Atmic vision. In such situations, you
should not let your mind waver. Have patience. The 'clouds' will
recede and the 'sun' will reappear in all its brilliance.

Free from arrogance, you are loved...
“Free from arrogance, you are loved,
Free from anger, you are free from sorrow,
Free from desire, you gain wealth,
Free from greed, you become happy.”

Saturate every breath of yours with love....
Saturate every breath of yours with love.
Love knows no fear. Fear drags man into
falsehood, injustice and evil.
Love does not crave for praise.
Only those who have no Love in them
itch for reward and reputation.
Love is its own reward.
When you are eager to place
offerings before the Lord,
let it be love instead of mere material objects.
Love is no merchandise;
do not bargain about its cost.
Let it flow clear from the heart,
as a stream of Truth, a river of wisdom.
Let it not emanate from the head,
nor from the tongue. Let it emerge,
full and free, from the heart.
Love knows no fear. Fear drags man into
falsehood, injustice and evil.

Man will face the darkest of all nights, when he, with his evil eye, forces his own conscience to look away!
Ultimately, even a mother must leave her child to stand on its own strength, for it is selfishness alone that binds another's freedom...
