Most computer games are real addictive and exciting. No doubt we welcome such innovative and creative games but too many have this problem of disciplining oneself. Knowing that nearly all homes are equipped with at least a desktop and internet, things are getting out of control for smaller kids yet to mature.
In this affluent community where I personally stay and know, most families have laptops, ipads, iphones, game devices and having a smartphone for each family member unless they are too young. With such a facility, with electricity... these kids can stay in their own rooms and be addicted to their high tech devices especially when their parents are busy working or staying out.
This issue of smartphone or ipad or laptop addiction is really of great concern... Well, it so much depend on how one can get a suitable timetable for all in our homes.. and how well the elders or patents can discipline them as not to overspend time on facing a screen day and night...
Something meant for good purposes have now been seen not that reliable or realistic. This awareness of setting a reasonable timetable now seems a MUST. Least things go out of control, it might be too late once the addiction becomes too much. Such a concern must be fully realized in all communities.
