If you write on a white board with white chalk,
nothing will be visible. You need to write with
a black chalk or writing material on a white board.
It is contrast that make the writings visible.
Hence there is duality in nature.
If everything is Joy, you may not enjoy the joy really.
Only when you are confronted with sorrow,
you will come to experience the joy.
Like summer and winter, pleasure and pain,
sweet and bitter, day and night,
life becomes tolerable for us.
If you feed a man all through
the week with only idly and chutney,
he would not turn back again.
We need variety in this world to sustain us.
There is duality in nature...
